In her controversial and yet quite compelling book “Dead Aid,” she argues that foreign aid has been a disaster for Africa and must be stopped. Moyo was born and raised in Zambia, but educated at Oxford and Harvard. She has worked for both the World Bank and Goldman Sachs.
